Growing Big Vegetables starts in the soil.
Whether you start from seeds or transplants, you will want to ensure that your garden soil is conditioned to maximize the potential of your plants. It is well documented that vigorous plant growth follows from optimal root growth and function, including nutrient uptake ability.
Among other things, your garden soil should have a thriving population of beneficial microbes, carbon and other soil organic matter, and the major nutrients, micro nutrients and trace elements that your plants need to grow. These nutrients are not limited to the big three - Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium, also known as N-P-K, that are all you get in most fertilizers. Vegetables and other plants also require minor nutrients and minerals for optimal growth. These minor nutrient requirements can frequently be satisfied in trace amounts - like you get in Great Big Plants Liquid Organic Compost.
Great Big Plants is an organic soil conditioner that can significantly improve your vegetable gardening results. From asparagus to zucchini, our organic compost can help you grow nutritious vegetables such as peppers, sweet tomatoes, and carrots with even greater success.
No matter what you grow in your vegetable garden, you'll enjoy:

- Greater plant uniformity
- Longer storage life
- Less insect/disease pressure
- More nutritious vegetables
Dip the Roots before Planting
We recommend dipping the roots of transplants in a mixture of Great Big Plants Organic Compost and water before planting. After that, add Great Big Plants to the watering schedule at least monthly. This can be done along with your N-P-K feedings.
With Great Big Plants, growing bigger veggies is as easy as watering.
